Course Details

This half day course deals specifically with the movement and handling of people who have mobility issues and is most
relevant to healthcare workers and care providers. The course focuses on how to minimize handling and lifting, and includes guidance on handling aids and risk assessment.

This course is essential training for Carers and those  employed in Healthcare and Social Services. This course provides substantial background knowledge on the subject of moving and handling. It will enable carers and healthcare professionals to build on the information gained from this course. We can also  provide the practical aspect of training on the job. This combination of knowledge plus practical training at work can help greatly reduce the chance of injury from poor moving and handling practices.

Course Aim: To provide   learners with the knowledge and skills on how to minimize and improve People and Patient handling techniques and be able to conduct one’s own  people and patient movement risk assessment.
