Course Details

Most people are unaware of the expiry date on an abrasive wheel or indeed what a lot of the markings on the wheel indicate. This one day course will provide delegates with all this information and more.

It is now a legal requirement under The Provision and use of Work Equipment that all staff who use abrasive wheels, receive abrasive wheels training in the safe use of the equipment and changing of abrasive wheels.

Course Aim: The aim of this course is to provide you with the Knowledge, skills and attitude to be able to inspect, select and mount abrasive wheels correctly and in accordance with HSA guidelines as set out in the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations.
